Main Role & Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development

  • Identify and source potential Business Development projects (Greenfield, Joint-Ventures, Merger & Acquisitions or other types) for WHA in Vietnam in line with Group Strategy including Develop feasibility studies

Business Intelligence and Performance Monitoring

  • Identify and gather relevant internal and external data indicators
  • Provide value added analysis to monitor performance and seek improvement areas for WHA in Vietnam
  • Communicate findings to Senior Executives (Slides or other written presentations, Oral presentations)

Strategic and Budget Planning, KPI Development and Monitoring

  • Assist in gathering data and analyzing external environment including macroeconomics, industry trends and competitive benchmarking
  • Assist in gathering data and analyzing internal strengths and weaknesses
  • Actively participate in formulating strategic initiatives as well as key performance indicators (KPI)

Specific Qualifications:

  • Male or Female Vietnamese nationality only
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Finance (Master degree is preferable)
  • Preferable 3-5 years as Financial Analyst, Investment Banking, Management Consultant or Audit background
  • Strategic thinking, financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in English
  • Good people and relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage effectively multiple projects with little direct supervision

Legal Associate

Job Title: Legal Associate

Report to: Legal and Compliance Manager (Local)

Location: Based in Hanoi

Main Role & Responsibilities:

Corporate secretary

- Ensure all corporate documents, i.e., charter, ERC, IRC, share certificates, etc. are renewed, updated on time, valid at all time, and in line with applicable laws and business models of the Company;

- Support regulatory issues relating to the operation of the Company, including governmental filings, licenses, and permits of the Company.

Contracts and Legal advices

- Draft and review contracts and addenda, including sales and purchase agreements, lease agreements, services agreements, construction-related contracts, NDAs, etc.;

- Support Company’s departments in contract negotiation and settlement;

- Administrate the execution, filing, renewal and/or extension of all transactional documents;

- Advise Company’s departments on legal aspects of daily business and operation.


- Support in litigation and arbitration proceedings that the Company is involved, either as claimant or respondent;

- Research and update relevant departments of the Company on new legal regulations regarding corporate, investment, real estate, environment, labor;

- Other tasks as may be assigned by the Legal and Compliance Manager.

Specific Qualifications:

Education and Experience

- Bachelor or higher degree in Law; lawyer-practicing certificate is a plus;

- At least 3 years’ working experience at recognized law firms or legal department of MNCs;

- Solid knowledge of the laws of Vietnam relating to corporate and investment. Experience in M&A and/or dispute settlement is a plus.


- Logical thinking, and analytical skills;

- Good command in English, both written and spoken;

- Self-starter, self-motivated, responsible, trustworthy, and hard-working;

- Ability to work both independently and as a team member under high pressure.

- Assisting to review project proposals, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules;

- Assisting to obtain necessary permits/licenses for the projects, follow up the requirements of the permits/licenses, and ensure all obligations are fulfilled;

- Organizing meetings with authorities, contractors or consultants;

- Tracking the progress and quality of work being performed;

- Using project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans;

- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team and related parties (clients, contractors, suppliers…);

- Reviewing field inspection reports Consultants;

- Reviewing Contracts, preparing Letters, etc.

- Assisting to review Contractor’s/Consultant’s proposals and quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable method and pricing is recommended for approval;

- Other work as required.




 Bachelor degree in Civil/Water resources/Architect Engineer

- More than 7 years working experience in Infrastructure development, preferably in the field of developer have work experience in foreign companies.

- Familiar with infrastructure works; Soil compaction, Road, Drainage system, Water supply, Waste water treatment and other utilities providing.

- Experience in working with government authorities at state level and local level.

- Able to manage multi-tasking Pre-Construction stage till Project implementation.

- Able to create project schedule and expedite the critical tasks to complete the project as planned.

- Able to inspect quality of construction work to match with drawings/specification provided by designer

- Able to use AutoCAD and Microsoft Project

- Good communication in English

- Working location in Nghe an and able to travel for business.
